Hey, I’m Ebony — forever intoxicated by adornment: the shimmer, the soft tinkling sound, the way a jewel can hold an emotion or a memory.

My love affair with accessories started young. I was nicknamed Jezabel — I wore it like a crown. Even if it carried a bit of a cheeky, superficial undertone, I was undeterred. From stick-on earrings to bangles made from wire and Lindt chocolate bunny bells, to weaving and knotting every friendship bracelet in sight — I was into it.

Now, Bisous Bison is the slightly more elevated version of that lifelong obsession — still playful, still nostalgic, made to jingle, stack, and remind you of all the moments worth keeping.

Globally inspired, locally made in the place of pink shells — Cronulla.

The name Bisous Bison came about after I mistook a new tattoo on my sister’s rump for saying “BISON” instead of the French word for “kiss,” BISOU. Once we cleared up the confusion, I promised to get a “matching” one. So yes — “BISON” is now inked on my right bum cheek.
